Step 1
Measuring
Detailed measurements of existing structures and hardscape you would like shown in the finished design are required to create an accurate CAD plan. We recommend measuring to the nearest inch to ensure an accurate design. Record your measurements however you prefer, they will then be used to create an accurate base plan
Step 2
Base Plan
Record your measurements from step 1 to create a neat base plan for our designers to work off of. We recommend the use of a 1/4" or 1/8" scale for accuracy. (If the original sketch in step one is done neatly, a designated base plan may not be needed). Do not include anything you plan to remove/demolish before starting the job.
Step 3
Design plan
After creating your base plan, copy the existing landscape/hardscape you plan to keep on another sheet (without the measurements this time) and create a rough sketch of any garden beds, perennials, trees, shrubs, hardscape, etc. that you would like included in your full color design. Be sure to include any plant names / details that you would like displayed on the finalized plan as well.
Step 4
Inspect
After submitting your base and design plans, one of our designers will promptly begin working on your full color design and send it to you via email upon completion. All drawings come standard with the square/linear footage of new hardscape structures as well as a compass showing North (if north has been noted in design plan) It is your job to thoroughly inspect all elements of the design to confirm all details have been included and everything looks as it should. After receiving the design, you will have the option to present it to the client digitally, or print it out if you'd prefer a hard copy.
Step 5
Revise
If you see anything you would like to change after receiving the completed design, simply go to the "Revise" tab at the top of the site. Here you will be prompted to describe the changes you would like to make and submit a picture of our design with your hand drawn corrections. EzScape offers unlimited revisions to ensure your satisfaction with the finished design. We prioritize revisions over new designs to provide you with a finished product ASAP.
